When a client accepts a project as complete, Paid will issue the client with an invoice for the work. The invoice is from the service provider but the payment details are for Paid's bank account (all payments go through Paid).
A client can pay an invoice online via debit or credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. These options will all be made clear in the email to the client with the invoice attached, and in any subsequent reminder emails. Any payments via debit or credit card, as the client is a business, will require the client to pay a 2.2% card payment charge.
A client can also, if they have registered with Paid, go to the Invoices section of Paid - the table in this section will show a client the invoices that they need to pay. The client clicks on the project they want to pay, the next screen shows them the Paid bank transfer details and the online payment system.
Online payment methods include, Visa, MasterCard and PayPal. If the client pay online, we will give you an instant payment confirmation and mark the invoice as being settled. If the client pays via bank transfer, it can take our systems 3 business days to recognise the payment.
